The data comes directly from official government sources, most often from an API provided by the relevant statistical office. To this end, we use proprietary algorithms that retrieve and aggregate all information.
For better analysis and clarity, the data is then technically processed: cleaned of unnecessary elements, standardized, and formatted to make it easier to present in the form of charts. This process ensures consistency across different data sets and enables visual interpretation of statistics as well as comparative analysis — both by humans and by analytical systems (including artificial intelligence).
We do not interfere with the content or meaning of the data. We retain the original values provided by the source. Our role is solely to organize and facilitate access to information.
When creating a chart, we ensure its clarity by starting with the presentation of general indicators that serve as a starting point for further data exploration. The user can then dive into the details using the chart's interactive features.
The data is processed by Content Writer — a limited liability company based in Poland — as part of the independent WorldIndex project. The goal of the initiative is to provide free access to up-to-date public data for analyzing trends and gaining a better understanding of the world.
Additionally, we provide the WorldIndex API, which enables direct access to the data. This allows companies, organizations, and individual users to integrate the information into their applications, analytical systems, or AI models, supporting data-driven decision-making.
Data provider: CSO – Department of Trade and Services.
The presented information comes from the Domain Knowledge Bases (DBW), maintained by the Polish Central Statistical Office (GUS) and made available under the CC BY 4.0 license.
The chart retrieves data in real time from the DBW API to ensure the most up-to-date and reliable information possible.
