Content Writer Launches Compabase: Polish Company Data for AI
Table of content

Good content starts with good data. At Content Writer, every article, report and market overview has to rest on facts that can be checked – and company information is among the hardest to get right. So we built Compabase: one platform that turns official registers, financial statements and public-sector records into clear company profiles. Our first market is Poland – where Content Writer was founded and one of the largest economies in the European Union.

What is Compabase?

Compabase covers nearly 4 million Polish businesses, with full financial statements for close to half a million of them. Instead of a dozen separate registers – most of them available only in Polish – you get one profile in English, with figures in US dollars or euros. The data is available in a web app, through an API and directly in AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT.

Find any company in seconds

Search by name, tax ID or registration number, or browse the whole market and filter by region, industry, revenue and profit. Results can be sorted, saved to a watchlist or exported – a quick way to build lead lists or map an industry.

One profile, the complete picture

Every company gets a single profile: what it does, how it is doing financially, who runs it and where public money is involved. Here is what it looks like for CD Projekt Red, the studio behind The Witcher and Cyberpunk 2077.

Financials you can read at a glance

A financial statement runs to dozens of lines. Compabase turns it into one picture: a Sankey diagram that shows where the money comes from, where it goes and how much is left as profit.

Benchmarks and competitors

A revenue figure on its own says little. Compabase puts every company in context: its rank in the industry, the region and the whole country, and how its revenue, profit, costs and assets compare with the industry median. You see at once whether a potential partner is a market leader or a small player.

The competitors list does the market research for you – ready-made shortlists of rivals, alternative suppliers or acquisition targets.

People, connections and public money

Compabase lists the management board, supervisory board and beneficial owners, and maps the links between people and companies.

Public money is covered too: EU grants, state aid and public tenders show how a company works with the public sector, while insolvency proceedings, court notices and debt registers flag the risks worth checking before you sign a contract.

API and MCP: Polish company data in ChatGPT, Claude and more

This is where Compabase does its real work. Ask about any Polish company and get an answer built on official filings – with charts, figures and sources instead of guesses.

The same data works outside Compabase. The Compabase MCP server plugs Polish company data into Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Le Chat, Cursor and other MCP-compatible tools, so your own assistant can search companies, read financial statements and check registers (Compabase MCP documentation). For your own systems there is a REST API.

Who is Compabase for?

  • Content teams and journalists – data-backed articles and reports,
  • Foreign companies working with Poland – vetting partners and suppliers,
  • Sales teams – lead lists by industry, region and company size,
  • Analysts and investors – comparing companies and tracking industries,
  • Compliance and KYB teams – owners, sanctions, debts and insolvency checks.

Browsing company profiles and basic use of the API and the MCP server are free. For larger needs, we offer individual plans and technical support. Discover Compabase.
